About WINNERWINNER is a Brooklyn-based hospitality group with a focus on thoughtful, high-quality food and genuine hospitality. From our bustling 7th Avenue café to our beloved Prospect Park kiosk, we’re dedicated to creating spaces that feel warm, community-driven, and deliciously consistent. We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team at WINNER, helping oversee and optimize daily kitchen operations across our Park Slope and Park locations. This is a hands-on, leadership-focused role for someone who thrives in an organized, fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong systems and teams. What You’ll Do Own kitchen operations – manage purchasing, inventory, production, and scheduling. Lead consistency efforts – ensure every dish, pastry, and prepared item meets WINNER’s quality standards. Streamline systems – refine and maintain standardized recipes, prep methods, and SOPs using KitchenSync and MarginEdge. Oversee production – build and adjust prep schedules aligned with sales data, and seasonal menus. Manage quality and safety – uphold DOH standards, monitor food quality, and maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment. Collaborate across teams – communicate closely with chefs, front-of-house, and the catering teams to ensure smooth service and efficient transfers. What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen management or lead culinary role Strong understanding of inventory, cost control, and scheduling Proven ability to streamline operations and manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and team leadership skills, Spanish proficiency a plus Familiarity with restaurant management tools such as MarginEdge, KitchenSync, Toast, or similar systems a plus A genuine love for good food, great systems, and supporting a team Success in This Role Looks Like Consistent, high-quality production across locations Accurate inventory and reduced waste Smooth day-to-day operations that empower the culinary team Measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost control Why You’ll Love Working With Us A passionate, collaborative team that values hospitality and craft Opportunities for growth within a growing hospitality group 25% employee discount at all WINNER locations Participation in commuter and health benefits, paid sick leave, and retirement fund
